The Alberta (3-1) took down the Quebec (2-2) 11-1 on Saturday at Midget Parc Henri-Casault after slamming the Quebec with six runs in the third inning.

The Alberta were led by a flawless day at the dish by Ramon Valdez, who went 3-3 against the Quebec's pitching. He doubled in the third innings and singled in the first and fourth innings.

The Quebec's lineup had no answer for Josh Hillis. The Quebec managed just one hit off of Hillis, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one during his three innings of work.

The Quebec were led by Samuel Fournier-Lachance's hitting. Fournier-Lachance went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Malcolm Gardner (0-1) took the loss for the Quebec. He allowed eight runs in two innings, walked one and struck out three.
