The Quebec (2-1) and the Prince Edward Island (1-2) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Quebec that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-1 win at Midget Municipal Stadium.

Vincent Desy brought the heat against the Prince Edward Island during his outing. The Prince Edward Island managed just one hit off of Desy, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Alex Perry was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
