Eric Kahl recorded his first win of the year for the Alberta. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered no hits.
Kyle McCulloch ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed one run.
The Alberta were sparked by Doug Clapperton and Valdez, who teamed up for five hits and five RBIs.
