The Anchorage Bucs (9-8) outlasted the Matsu Miners (8-14) on Monday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 8-7 win at Hermon Brothers Field.

The Anchorage Bucs staved off the Matsu Miners as the Matsu Miners were unable to match the Anchorage Bucs down the stretch.

The Matsu Miners scored on an RBI triple by Bill Cullen in the fifth inning, a wild pitch in the seventh inning, and an RBI double by Bob Arens in the ninth inning. Still, the Matsu Miners couldn't catch the Anchorage Bucs.

Danny Susdorf racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Anchorage Bucs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Erick Allen recorded his first win of the year for the Anchorage Bucs. He allowed two runs over 2 1/3 innings. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered two hits.

Jake Watts was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
