Francisco Caraballo had two extra base hits as the New Jersey Jackals (50-36) took home a 6-3 victory over the Worcester Tornadoes (25-60) at Yogi Berra Stadium on Friday.
He homered in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and doubled in the fifth inning.Isaac Pavlik picked up the win for the New Jersey Jackals. Pavlik allowed three earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out six over nine innings of work.
Michael Gedman was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out nine.
The New Jersey Jackals were sparked by Caraballo and Jeff Lanning, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
