The Rockland Boulders (41-35) took home a 9-3 victory over the Quebec Capitales (48-28) on Tuesday at Le Stade Municipal, fueled by three runs in the seventh inning.
The Rockland Boulders were led by a flawless day at the dish by Brandon Pinckney, who went 4-4 against the Quebec Capitales' pitching. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fourth and seventh innings.
Jonathan Malo racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Quebec Capitales. He singled in the first and sixth innings and homered in the eighth inning.
Dan Jurik improved to 4-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Rockland Boulders. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. Jurik struck out five, walked three and gave up three hits.
Chad Jones (2-3) took the loss for the Quebec Capitales. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
