A walk-off two-run home run from Jose Hernandez brought home the winning run for the St Paul Saints in a 6-4 victory over the Quebec Capitales (44-23) in 10 innings at Midway Stadium on Sunday.
Hernandez racked up three RBIs on three hits for the St Paul Saints. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and homered in the tenth inning.
Kyle Ruwe pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out four.
Reid Mahon got the win for the St Paul Saints. He allowed one run over one inning. Mahon struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.
Guillaume Duguay was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
