The New Jersey Jackals' late runs seal 10-4 blowout over the Newark Bears

The New Jersey Jackals (48-33) took home a 10-4 victory over the Newark Bears (26-55) on Sunday at Bears_Eagles Riverfront Stadium, fueled by three runs in the eighth inning.

A three-run triple by Zach Woods delivered the runs in the eighth. The New Jersey Jackals had one hit in the inning.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to seven lead changes in the game.

The New Jersey Jackals took the lead in the seventh inning and held on for the victory. A sacrifice fly by Bryan Sabatella scored Jeff Lanning and gave the New Jersey Jackals the lead for good.

Matt Cusick racked up three RBIs on two hits for the New Jersey Jackals. He homered in the third inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Kyle Greenwalt recorded his sixth win of the year for the New Jersey Jackals. He allowed four runs over six innings. Greenwalt struck out five, walked three and gave up five hits.

Caleb Cuevas (1-5) took the loss for the Newark Bears. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
