Colafemina's single gives the Quebec Capitales walk-off win over the Newark Bears, 3-2

A walk-off single from Josh Colafemina brought home the winning run for the Quebec Capitales (41-20) in a 3-2 victory over the Newark Bears (18-44) at Le Stade Municipal on Sunday.

The Quebec Capitales were led by Colafemina's hitting. Colafemina went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the ninth inning.

Rene Leveret had a hot bat for the Quebec Capitales. Leveret went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

The Newark Bears' lineup had no answer for Tony Davis. Davis held the Newark Bears hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Tucker Nathans racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Newark Bears. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Roque Mercedes recorded the win for the Quebec Capitales. He pitched one shutout inning. Mercedes struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Anthony Pluta couldn't get it done on the hill for the Newark Bears, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
