The Quebec Capitales defeat the Rockland Boulders after late game single, 5-4

The Quebec Capitales (28-13) beat the Rockland Boulders (18-22) 5-4 but needed 15 innings to do so on Saturday at Le Stade Municipal.

With the score tied at four, Steve Brown came to the plate and singled, bringing home James Roche.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifteenth, with five lead changes.

Roche racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Quebec Capitales. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the eighth, thirteenth, and fifteenth innings.

Guillaume Leduc pitched lights out for the Quebec Capitales. The Rockland Boulders managed just one hit off of the the Quebec Capitales' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his four innings of work.

Julian Sampson (3-3) took the loss for the Rockland Boulders. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
