Josh Strawn threw a shutout to lift the Grand Prairie AirHogs to a 3-0 win over the New Jersey Jackals (22-15) at Yogi Berra Stadium.

The Grand Prairie AirHogs' Strawn kept the New Jersey Jackals off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out six.

Brian Myrow went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.

Steve Fox was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
