Isaac Pavlik held the Rockland (5-11) scoreless for six innings to boost the New Jersey (10-6) to a 9-5 victory.

Pavlik struck out seven and allowed no walks and four hits.

The New Jersey came out swinging, scoring four runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the Rockland early.

Nick Giarraputo racked up three RBIs on two hits for the New Jersey. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Jonathan Velasquez (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked five and struck out five.
