Early lead gives the Kansas City T-Bones easy victory over the Sioux City Explorers, 11-2

The Kansas City T-Bones (46-44) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Sioux City Explorers (40-50), recording an 11-2 victory on Thursday at Lewis _ Clark Park.

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Kansas City T-Bones to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Trevor Coleman, an RBI single by Coleman, and an RBI single by Justin C. Bass in the second inning fueled the Kansas City T-Bones' offense early.

Ray Sadler had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the second, third, and fifth innings.

Josh Rainwater picked up the win for the Kansas City T-Bones. Rainwater pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out four.

Ray Serrano had two extra-base hits for the Sioux City Explorers. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Colin Allen couldn't get it done on the hill for the Sioux City Explorers, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked two and struck out none.

C. Bass, Sadler, Kris Sanchez and Coleman helped lead the Kansas City T-Bones. They combined for 10 hits and seven RBIs.
