Alberts' triple propels the Amarillo Sox past the Grand Prairie AirHogs, 8-3

Four first-inning runs helped the Amarillo Sox (40-44) to an 8-3 win over the Grand Prairie AirHogs (45-39) at Amarillo National Bank Sox Stad on Thursday.

Adam Buschini was solid at the plate for the Amarillo Sox. Buschini went 4-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Trent Lockwood had two extra-base hits for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He doubled in the second and fourth innings and singled in the sixth inning.

Justin Garcia recorded his ninth win of the year for the Amarillo Sox. He allowed three runs over 6 2/3 innings. Garcia struck out five, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Nick DeBarr (12-6) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
