The El Paso Diablos make the most of 11 hits in 4-3 victory over the Laredo Lemurs

Both the El Paso Diablos (34-38) and the Laredo Lemurs (35-40) put runners aboard on Tuesday, but it was the El Paso Diablos that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-3 win at Cohen Stadium.

The fact that the El Paso Diablos grouped all of their runs into the fourth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

The El Paso Diablos held off the Laredo Lemurs, as the Laredo Lemurs were unable to overcome a four-run fourth inning deficit.

The Laredo Lemurs scored three runs in the fifth on two doubles and an RBI single by Jimmy Mojica. Still, the Laredo Lemurs couldn't draw even.

Jermy Acey was hot from the plate for the El Paso Diablos. Acey went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Scott Hodsdon improved to 7-2 on the year by picking up the win for the El Paso Diablos. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Mark Haynes (3-6) took the loss for the Laredo Lemurs. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
