A walk-off single from Cory Morales brought home the winning run for the Sioux Falls Pheasants (33-38) in a 3-2 victory over the Quebec Capitales in 12 innings at Sioux Falls Stadium on Thursday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Sioux Falls Pheasants' Morales. Morales went 2-5 and drove in one. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the twelfth inning.

Reggie Abercrombie put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. He tripled in the sixth inning.

The Quebec Capitales couldn't get anything going so long as Kyle Mertins was on the hill. Mertins held the Quebec Capitales hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Dusty Gober improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Guillaume Leduc took the loss for the Quebec Capitales. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
