The Kansas City T-Bones hang on against the Grand Prairie AirHogs, 6-5

The Grand Prairie AirHogs (40-27) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Kansas City T-Bones (37-31), and the Grand Prairie AirHogs lost 6-5 to the Kansas City T-Bones after falling behind by three runs in the fifth inning.

The Grand Prairie AirHogs scored on an RBI single by Keanon Simon in the seventh inning and an RBI single by Yasutsugu Nishimoto in the ninth inning. Unfortunately, the Grand Prairie AirHogs weren't able to take the lead back.

Lee Cruz had two extra-base hits for the Kansas City T-Bones. He doubled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Simon racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Grand Prairie AirHogs.

Devin Anderson improved to 5-5 on the year by picking up the win for the Kansas City T-Bones. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. Anderson struck out five, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Cody White was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.

The Kansas City T-Bones were sparked by Devin Goodwin and Cruz, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
