Robert Coe got the win, running his season record to 8-3. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Rainwater ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just nine innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
