An exceptional effort by Jerod Edmondson hoisted the Worcester Tornadoes to an 11-10 win over the El Paso Diablos (16-30) on Saturday at Cohen Stadium.

Edmondson rocked the El Paso Diablos with two home runs. Edmondson went 4-5 in the game with four RBIs and three runs scored. Edmondson homered in the fourth and fifth innings.

The two teams combined for 21 runs and 27 hits, including zero extra base hits. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using nine pitchers in total.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to seven lead changes in the game.

The Worcester Tornadoes finally managed to grab the lead after a strong eighth inning. A passed ball scored Brandon Pinckney to give the Worcester Tornadoes the lead for good.

The El Paso Diablos couldn't get anything going as long as Matt McDonald was on the mound. The El Paso Diablos managed just one hit off of McDonald, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Kyle Cremers (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
