After three lead changes in Tuesday's game at Shaw Park, the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (22-21) finally pulled out a 5-3 win over the Winnipeg Goldeyes (26-17).
Marcos Rodriguez had a hot bat for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. Rodriguez went 3-4. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.
Tyler Herron handled the Winnipeg Goldeyes' lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. Herron allowed three earned runs on five hits and two walks over 6 2/3 innings.
Chris Salamida was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks batters and allowing one run.
Kevin Fuqua got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Dexter Carter (0-2) took the loss for the Winnipeg Goldeyes. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
