A superb effort by Bubby Williams carried the Kansas City T-Bones (22-18) to a 7-2 win over the Gary SouthShore RailCats (16-23) on Thursday at U.S. Steel Yard.
Williams rocked the Gary SouthShore RailCats with two home runs. Williams went 2-4 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Williams homered in the fifth, sixth, and sixth innings.
Shaun Garceau racked up six strikeouts in the the Kansas City T-Bones win. Garceau allowed two earned runs, five hits and four walks over six innings.
Morgan Coombs (2-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
