Jason Jarvis kept the Fargo-Moorhead (13-18) off the board during his nine innings of work and the Sioux City (17-16) beat the Fargo-Moorhead, 6-0.

Jarvis struck out three and allowed two walks and seven hits.

The Sioux City blew out the Fargo-Moorhead thanks to 11 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Sioux City scored three runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Michael Lang, an RBI double by Kris Sanchez, and an RBI single by Ray Serrano.

Brandon Newton had a hot bat for the Sioux City. Newton went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.

Aaron Shafer (1-4) took the loss for the Fargo-Moorhead. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
