Josh Rainwater threw a shutout to lift the Kansas City (15-16) to a 10-0 win over the El Paso (7-24) at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

The Kansas City's Rainwater kept the El Paso off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up three.

The Kansas City ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. The Kansas City scored four runs in the last three innings to finish off the blowout win. The Kansas City scored four runs in the eighth on an RBI single by Jose O. Duran, a double by Reid Fronk, , , an RBI single by Gus Milner, and a single by Brandon Jones.

Devin Goodwin racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Kansas City.

Scott Hodsdon couldn't get it done on the bump for the El Paso, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked five and struck out four.
