A three-run double by Al Quintana and an RBI single by Joe Anthonsen helped the Sioux Falls score four runs in the ninth. The Sioux Falls had five hits in the inning.
Trevor Lawhorn racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Sioux Falls. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth, eighth, and ninth innings.
Jim Rapoport racked up three RBIs on three hits for the St Paul. He singled in the first inning, homered in the third inning, and tripled in the fifth inning.
Alan DeRatt recorded his first win for the Sioux Falls even though he allowed five runs over six innings. DeRatt struck out three, walked one and gave up nine hits.
Alberto Rolon (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
