Josue Peley had two extra base hits, helping the Quebec to a 6-2 victory over the St Paul (7-5) on Wednesday at Le Stade Municipal.
He tripled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.The Quebec relied on Bryan Rembisz to eat up innings en route to the win. Rembisz pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out three.
Robert Coe was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
The Quebec were sparked by Peley and Patrick DAoust, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.
