Sean Sweeney kept the Salinas Tomahawks (3-34) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Nevada Big Horns (5-23) beat the Salinas Tomahawks, 4-0.

Sweeney allowed five hits, no walks and struck out seven.

Kyle Dodge racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Nevada Big Horns. He tripled in the fifth inning.

Jaime Vega went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Salinas Tomahawks. He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.

Aaron Lopez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
