The Top Speed Baseball pulled out the win thanks to a strong seventh inning. A groundout by Jeff Deblieux scored Mark Hurley and gave the Top Speed Baseball the lead for good.
Hurley led the Top Speed Baseball's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the eighth inning.
The Santa Maria Packers couldn't get anything going as long as Cole Williams was on the mound. The Santa Maria Packers managed just two hits off of the the Top Speed Baseball's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.
