Andrea Duran went 1-2 and hit a home run as the USSSA Pride (23-12) took home a 4-1 victory over the Akron Racers (14-22) at ESPN Wide World on Friday.

Sarah Pauly kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the Akron Racers batters. Pauly allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Sam Marder was solid at the plate for the Akron Racers. Marder went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. She homered in the seventh inning.

Lisa Norris was charged with her seventh loss of the year. She lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
