Cat Osterman held the Carolina Diamonds (7-12) scoreless for seven innings to boost the USSSA Pride (10-9) to a 1-0 victory.

Osterman struck out eight and allowed three walks and five hits.

Charlotte Morgan helped the USSSA Pride take the lead for good in the sixth inning. With the game scoreless in the sixth inning Morgan came to the plate and doubled, plating Jessica Mendoza.

Katie Burkhart (4-5) took the loss for the Carolina Diamonds. She lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed one run.
