Key at bat helps the Chicago Bandits defeat the USSSA Pride, 10-7

Alisa Goler came off the bench and never even had to swing her bat as Goler reached on a stolen base in the one to lead the Chicago Bandits (12-3) to a 10-7 win over the USSSA Pride (8-7) on Saturday at Rosemont Stadium.

With the game scoreless in the first inning.

Megan Wiggins racked up six RBIs on two hits for the Chicago Bandits. She homered in the second and third innings.

Ashley Charters was solid at the plate for the USSSA Pride. Charters went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. She singled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Even though Meagan Denny-White allowed seven runs over seven innings she still recorded the victory, her second of the season. She struck out seven, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

Sarah Pauly couldn't get it done in the circle for the USSSA Pride, taking a loss. She allowed six runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
