The York Revolution (79-60) and the Sugar Land Skeeters (63-76) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the York Revolution capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-1 win at Constellation Field, Sugar Land.

Chris Nowak had two extra-base hits for the York Revolution. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the third and eighth innings.

Michael Nix was effective even in defeat, mowing down eight the York Revolution batters and allowing three runs.

Derrick Gordon recorded his fifth win of the year for the York Revolution. He allowed one run over six innings. Gordon struck out two, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Nix ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his eleventh loss of the year.
