Mark Brackman struck out eight batters to lift the Lancaster Barnstormers (88-51) to a 9-2 win over the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (68-71) at Regency Furniture Stadium.

Travis Denker blasted two home runs for the Lancaster Barnstormers. Denker went 3-4 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Denker homered in the first and eighth innings.

The offense exploded for the the Lancaster Barnstormers in the first. The Lancaster Barnstormers' bats caught fire leading to five runs.

Dan Reichert ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
