Joe Thurston went 1-5 and hit a home run, helping the York Revolution (61-54) to a 4-1 victory over the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (57-59) on Wednesday at Regency Furniture Stadium.

Chris Cody picked up the win for the York Revolution. Cody allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out two over seven innings of work.

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs were led by Kevin Rios's hitting. Rios went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and homered in the eighth inning.

The York Revolution had no answer for Deinys Suarez, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Suarez gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Matthew Vasquez couldn't get it done on the bump for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, taking a loss. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
