Dan Serafini held the Sugar Land Skeeters (50-64) scoreless for six innings to boost the Bridgeport Bluefish (53-59) to a 2-1 victory.

Serafini allowed three hits, one walk and struck out three.

Willis Otanez pushed the Bridgeport Bluefish ahead, in the tenth inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. With the score tied at one in the tenth inning, Otanez came to the plate and homered.

Otanez did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bridgeport Bluefish, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the tenth inning.

Kyle Zaleski improved to 5-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Roberto Giron couldn't get it done on the hill for the Sugar Land Skeeters, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
