Horacio Ramirez held the Sugar Land Skeeters (44-56) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Lancaster Barnstormers (64-35) to a 9-0 victory.

Ramirez struck out five and allowed no walks and four hits.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Lancaster Barnstormers in the fifth. The Sugar Land Skeeters had no answer as the Lancaster Barnstormers scored six runs.

Travis Denker racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Scott Kazmir (0-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out five.
