The York Revolution defeat the Lancaster Barnstormers after late game sacrifice fly, 9-6

The York Revolution (49-46) and the Lancaster Barnstormers (60-35) traded the lead seven times on Wednesday, but the York Revolution ended up on top with a 9-6 win over the Lancaster Barnstormers.

The York Revolution took the lead in the fifth inning and held on for the victory. A sacrifice fly by Brandon Haveman scored Scott Grimes and gave the York Revolution the lead for good.

Andres Perez did his best to jumpstart the offense for the York Revolution, reaching base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Ryan Harvey rocked the York Revolution with two home runs. Harvey went 2-5 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Harvey homered in the second, second, second, and fourth innings.

Chris Cody improved to 7-11 on the year by picking up the win for the York Revolution. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. Cody struck out four, walked one and gave up nine hits.

John Halama (8-7) took the loss for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked two and struck out one.
