The Long Island Ducks scored one run in the sixth on a solo home run by Brandon Sing. Still, the Long Island Ducks couldn't catch the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.

It was a good day at the plate for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs' Jeremy Owens. Owens went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning.

Nick Green recorded his seventh win of the year for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Green struck out three, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Mike Loree (4-7) took the loss for the Long Island Ducks. He lasted just 7 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
