DeGeorge helps the Somerset Patriots down the York Revolution 6-2

Daniel DeGeorge had two extra base hits, sparking the Somerset Patriots (31-33) to a 6-2 victory over the York Revolution (33-31) on Monday at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

He tripled in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Justin Cassel picked up the win for the Somerset Patriots. Cassel pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out three.

Scott Grimes was hot from the plate for the York Revolution. Grimes went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the sixth inning.

Chris Cody ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his eighth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out three.
