The Lancaster Barnstormers (24-17) built an early lead against the Bridgeport Bluefish (19-22), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 9-5 win on Friday at Harbor Yard.
Blake Gailen racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.
Brock Peterson put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He homered in the third inning, singled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the ninth inning.
J.D. Durbin recorded his second win of the year for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked four and surrendered nine hits.
Tobi Stoner (1-6) took the loss for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked one and struck out three.
