Gilbert De La Vara kept the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (19-18) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Bridgeport Bluefish (18-19) beat the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, 7-0.

De La Vara struck out five and allowed one walk and five hits.

The Bridgeport Bluefish's bats came to life in the fourth inning. In the inning the Bridgeport Bluefish scored four runs.

Brock Peterson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Rayner Oliveros (2-2) took the loss for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
