Monday was a great day for Logan Gillis, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Nashua Silver Knights (29-9) to a 9-3 victory over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (7-33) at Doyle Field.

J.P. Ashline recorded his first win of the year for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed three runs over six innings. Ashline struck out four, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Alex DiSanto ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
