Dunlap's three-run home run gives the Moose Jaw Miller Express walk-off win over the Edmonton Prospects, 9-8

A walk-off three-run blast from Spencer Dunlap brought home the winning run for the Moose Jaw Miller Express (13-15) in a 9-8 victory over the Edmonton Prospects (6-23) at Ross Wells Park on Wednesday.

Dunlap racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He singled in the seventh inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 17 total runs and 26 hits during the game. There were seven pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Michael Corso went a perfect 5-5 at the dish for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He singled in the first, fifth, and sixth innings.

The Edmonton Prospects couldn't get anything going as long as Tanner Spencer was on the mound. Spencer held the Edmonton Prospects hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Dustin Caplette got the win, running his season record to 1-1. Caplette struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

Ethan Sterkel couldn't get it done on the bump for the Edmonton Prospects, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
