A superb effort by Taylor Wright led the Weyburn Beavers (10-16) to a 7-0 win over the Yorkton Cardinals (8-20) on Thursday at Tom Laing Park.
The Weyburn Beavers' Wright kept the Yorkton Cardinals off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out six.
