The Melville Millionaires (20-18) pounded the Yorkton Cardinals (12-27) on Saturday 14-4 at Pirie Field.

The Melville Millionaires scored five runs in the eighth on an RBI single by Campbell Cooper, a sacrifice fly by AJ Florence, a hit by pitch, and a two-run error.

Cooper racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Melville Millionaires.

Brayon Colley got on base three times in the game for the Yorkton Cardinals. He singled in the second innings.

Nathan Kirby recorded his third win of the year for the Melville Millionaires. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Jamie Whitehead (2-3) took the loss for the Yorkton Cardinals. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out two.
