The Laconia Muskrats (9-14) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the Mystic Schooners (3-18), and the Laconia Muskrats lost 6-5 to the Mystic Schooners after falling behind by three runs in the second inning.

The Laconia Muskrats scored on a solo home run by Vincente Conde in the third inning, a sacrifice fly by Regan Flaherty in the fifth inning, an RBI double by Joe Torres in the sixth inning, and a two-run home run by Will Leathers in the eighth inning. Still, the Laconia Muskrats couldn't catch the Mystic Schooners.

Ryan Lindemuth racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Mystic Schooners. He homered in the first inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

The Laconia Muskrats couldn't get anything going as long as Jeff Stoddard was on the mound. The Laconia Muskrats managed just one hit off of Stoddard, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out seven during his four innings of work.

Leathers reached base four times. He scored one run and had two RBIs.

AJ Rataic recorded his first win of the year for the Mystic Schooners. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Austin Sullivan was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out eight.
