The Terre Haute Rex (16-13) jumped on the Dubois County Bombers (20-9) early on their way to an 8-3 win on Saturday at Bob Warn Field, scoring four runs in the first inning.

Casey McCurdy racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Terre Haute Rex. He homered in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Austin Nyman boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the Dubois County Bombers. He singled in the fifth and eighth innings.

Nick Cunningham recorded his first win of the year for the Terre Haute Rex. He allowed one run over five innings. Cunningham struck out one, walked one and gave up six hits.

Taylor Luna ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out five.
