Derek Peake collected three hits, helping the Slippery Rock Sliders (11-20) to a 6-2 victory over the Lorain County Ironmen (8-23) on Tuesday at Jack Critchfield Park.

Max Deering got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Deering struck out four, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Adam Beach was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
