The Dubois County Bombers (32-22) pounded the Springfield Sliders (22-32) on Tuesday 10-2 at League Stadium.

An error and a three-run double by Jeff Zahn helped the Dubois County Bombers score four runs in the sixth. The Dubois County Bombers had one hit in the inning.

Cody Daily had two extra-base hits for the Dubois County Bombers. He doubled in the second and third innings and singled in the fifth and eighth innings.

The Dubois County Bombers relied on Alex Britt to eat up innings en route to the win. Britt allowed one earned run, four hits and four walks while striking out five over eight innings of work.

Wade Rothermich (3-1) took the loss for the Springfield Sliders. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
