The Chillicothe Paints (18-12) built an early edge on Sunday, but the Slippery Rock Sliders (10-20) roared back to steal a 5-3 victory at VA Memorial Stadium.

A two-run error gave the Slippery Rock Sliders the lead in the seventh inning.

Josh Tinnon had an impressive outing against the Chillicothe Paints' lineup. The Chillicothe Paints managed just one hit off of Tinnon, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Chillicothe Paints' Brad Goldberg dominated the Slippery Rock Sliders' batters, giving up one run and striking out 10.

Shawn Patterson recorded his second win of the year for the Slippery Rock Sliders. Patterson struck out three, walked one and gave up two hits.

Jack Quigley (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
