A superb effort by Jared Locke hoisted the Butler Blue Sox (2-0) to a 4-2 win over the Chillicothe Paints on Wednesday at Pullman Park.

Locke kept contact to a minimum, striking out 11 the Chillicothe Paints (0-2) batters. Locke allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks over nine innings.

Jason Radwan racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Butler Blue Sox. He homered in the third inning.

J.T. Miller (0-1) took the loss for the Chillicothe Paints. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
